God Over Answers Prayers

God Over Answers Prayers

Scripture Text : “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,” Ephesians 3:20

We have often heard that God answers prayers. The above scripture tells us He over answers our prayers.

God always over answers the prayers of His children. He continually gives much more than we ask for or imagine.

God wants to answer us not according to our requests but according to His riches and power. He is willing to do for us exceedingly abundantly above all we can ask or imagine.

In 1 Kings 3:5 we read, one night the Lord appeared to King Solomon in a dream, and said, “Ask for whatever you want me to give you.”

Solomon answered “Give your servant a discerning heart to govern your people” V 9

It pleased God and He responds to Solomon’s request by offering three different gifts. God said “I will give you a discerning heart”.

Moreover, I will give you what you have not asked for both wealth and honor so that in your lifetime you will have no equal among kings v 13

Likewise God said “I will give you a long life.” v 14

Solomon asked for wisdom but God over answered his prayer and blessed him with wealth, honor and long life.

The Bible tells the story of a poor, crippled man in Acts 3 who was carried daily, and laid at the Temple gate, to beg.

When the lame beggar saw Peter and John he asked for alms. Peter looked him and said, “I don’t have silver or gold, but I’ll give you what I have. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk!”

Peter took him by the hand, and instantly the man’s feet and ankles became strong. He jumped to his feet, praising God!

The beggar was expecting some money but he got something that money couldn’t buy. This beggar not only was healed, he also received an outpouring of the Holy Spirit.

The thief on the cross asked Christ only one thing “Remember me when you come into your kingdom.” The thief was not only saved but he was in paradise with Jesus few hours later.

Dear friends,

  • Bring all your requests to God.
  • Never doubt God’s mighty power.
  • Expect a mighty miracle .

Today,

Pray big prayers. Our God is able and nothing is impossible with God.

God can do much, much more than anything we can ask or imagine.

Hallelujah!

God Bless You!
